Legit50 is an independent publisher of free tools and guides for US small business owners. Our goal is to make everyday paperwork — invoices, estimates, receipts and, later, business formation — easier to understand and faster to get done.

What you can find here

• Free document tools: an invoice generator, an estimate generator and a receipt generator. They run entirely in your browser. What you type, including an uploaded logo, is saved only in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
• Templates you can fill in online or download as blank PDFs.
• Guides on our blog that explain how these documents work.

We are working on guides about forming an LLC. Those pages will cite official .gov sources and will be reviewed by a licensed professional before they are published.

Legit50 is not a government agency and is not affiliated with any state or federal agency. We are not a law firm or a CPA firm, and nothing on this site is legal, tax or accounting advice. For decisions about your business, talk to a qualified professional.
